The Genoa Christian Academy Lions secured a victory over the Centerburg Trojans with a score of 68–42 in a non-conference basketball game held on Saturday, December 6. Despite efforts by the Trojans to narrow the margin, the Lions maintained consistent scoring to ensure their win.
The game took place at Genoa Christian Academy, where the Lions established dominance early on with consecutive 19-point quarters, resulting in a significant halftime lead. According to reports, Genoa Christian Academy continued their momentum into the third quarter with another 19 points, widening the gap and effectively sealing their victory. Paxton Federer and Evan Allgood each contributed 12 points for GCA, while Jackson Kirura added 10 points. The team’s balanced offense and solid defense were key factors in their success.
Looking ahead, the Genoa Christian Academy Lions are set to compete against the Eagles in an upcoming home non-conference matchup. The Lions currently hold a record of 1-2, whereas the Eagles have yet to secure a win this season with a record of 0-3.
