Centerburg Trojans defeated Elgin Comets 15–3 in a varsity baseball non-conference game.
The match was played on March 28 at Elgin.
The Trojans delivered a strong offensive performance, scoring 15 runs on 15 hits to secure the victory. They jumped out early with seven combined runs in the first two innings and added a seven-run seventh inning to seal the game. Elgin managed three runs in the fourth inning, but Centerburg’s consistent hitting and run production proved decisive. The Trojans also limited mistakes defensively, committing just one error in what was described as a well-rounded team effort.
