According to the game report, Centerburg delivered a strong all-around performance to notch a 54–38 win over Mount Gilead on Jan. 14. The Trojans shot 42% from the field and a perfect 100% from the free-throw line, showing efficiency on offense. Defensively, they racked up 22 steals and five blocks, disrupting Mount Gilead’s rhythm throughout the game. Despite being out-rebounded, Centerburg’s aggressive play and balanced scoring proved decisive in the home conference victory.
Centerburg cruised to a 57–30 road win over Mt. Gilead in their Dec. 9 conference matchup. The Trojans controlled the pace throughout, limiting the home team’s scoring while finding offensive rhythm of their own. Their defensive pressure and efficient execution helped build a comfortable lead. The victory marked a strong showing for Centerburg in league play.
