Centerburg edged Cardington‑Lincoln, 46–44, in a boys’ basketball matchup on January 6, at Cardington‑Lincoln High School.
The Trojans earned the road conference win in a tense, back‑and‑forth battle. Centerburg jumped out to an 18–15 lead after the first quarter, but the Pirates surged ahead by halftime, 28–26. The Trojans regrouped in the third, pulling even and setting up a tight finish.
Both teams scored six points in a defensive fourth quarter, but Centerburg’s early work and late composure proved enough to secure the two‑point victory.
