Centerburg High School’s girls basketball team secured a decisive 57-30 victory over Mt. Gilead on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, during the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference game. The match took place at Mt. Gilead High School in Ohio as part of the ongoing 2025-26 basketball season.
According to reports from the game, Centerburg gained control after a closely contested first quarter and dominated the middle quarters to establish a substantial lead. The Trojans led by quarter scores of 8-6 in the first and 26-16 at halftime, eventually extending their advantage with robust defense in the second half.
Mt. Gilead is set to face East Knox next on Friday, December 19.
In their previous encounter on December 10, 2024, Centerburg defeated Mt. Gilead with a score of 45-7 earlier in that season.
