The Heath Bulldogs faced a challenging defeat against the Centerburg Trojans, losing 54–20 in a non-conference girls varsity basketball game held on Friday night. Despite the loss, the Bulldogs displayed competitive energy and defensive effort as they continue to develop early in the season.
According to reports, the non-conference match took place on Friday, November 21, at Heath High School. Centerburg established control early in the game, building a strong lead through efficient offensive execution and tight defensive pressure. Although Heath struggled to generate momentum, they showed stretches of improved ball movement in the second half. The Bulldogs fought hard on the boards and worked to create scoring opportunities, but ultimately, Centerburg’s balanced offensive attack secured their victory.
Looking ahead, Heath is scheduled to travel to Highland for another non-conference matchup on Tuesday, November 25. The programs have not met in recent postseason play, suggesting this is their first encounter in recent seasons.
